Harnessing the power of this real-time production workflow allows for stunning in-camera VFX. High-resolution LED Volumes surround the actors and place them into an immersive world they can use to drive real emotional responses. The LED Volume brings realistic lighting and reflection onto the set, gives a color accurate final pixel image and, material for editorial to begin working with reducing the post-production timeline and cost. Creating the photo-real look is achieved with physically accurate parallax that occurs as the camera perspective is tracked and rendered from the practical set to the virtual set. As the camera moves, the digital environment is geometrically mapped onto the LED screen from the the real-world perspective of the camera, in real-time, this produces the effect of the practical set and virtual set meshing together accurately, blending the physical and the digital worlds. The advanced virtual production pipeline using Unreal Engine is fully interactive and allows filmmakers to be inspired, adapt and make changes on the fly providing new tools to evolve the art of storytelling.
